David joined Pendragon in 2012 after transferring to the Bar. David was a practicing solicitor for over twenty five years.

During that time David has acted in a broad range of litigation from the Family Proceedings court to the High Court predominantly in children and family cases.

David has been a partner in several firms within the Mid and South Wales areas latterly having been employed as head of the family department in a Herefordshire based practice.

David has been a member of the Law Society’s Children panel for over twenty years accepting instructions from Children’s Guardians and parents also receiving instructions from local authorities in children cases.

David is married with two grown up children  only one of whom belatedly is showing any interest in the law the other, wisely, is teaching. David lives in Abergavenny and has practiced in most of the South Wales county courts together with Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcester and Shropshire and is most happy to accept instruction in these areas.

He is also a member of his local church and is actively involved in the Food Bank initiative to provide emergency food and support to individuals and families who have experienced crises in the Monmouthshire area.

David is public access counsel who accepts instruction under the Direct Access Scheme.

VAT details are available upon request and are provided on our initial acknowledgement letter which is generated upon receipt of your Brief or instruction to Counsel. It is also provied upon our fee note to our client.
